She's teaching at UTSA and working on a book based on her dissertation about Caroline Miller, the Georgia Pulitzer-Prize winning author of Lamb in His Bosom.
While Margaret Mitchell, the other Georgia Pulitzer Prize winner, author of Gone with the Wind, received much acclaim, Miller is all but forgotten. Deb is hoping to bring back her unpublished novels and renew interest in her writing. It was fascinating to hear about Miller's work and life--and to hear about Deb's journey to resurrect a former writer from our shared home state.
