Crossy Word (or is it Word Crossy?) is a wonderfully addictive game you can play solo on your smart phone.
I've played over 700 rounds of it, all while watching the news and listening to Ted Talks and waiting in the doctor's office for my appointment.
While occasionally words come up that I've never heard of, most of the time you can figure out what would be, could be, a word!
And you get to feel the chagrin of seeing an "obvious" word that you missed.
It's free therapy for a time when the news has hardly ever been harder to watch and believe.
