I was planning to leave yesterday at noon, but Kate invited me to lunch--which we enjoyed outside with Charlotte on such a beautiful day.
I was planning to leave from there, the car all packed and ready, but decided a Chinese massage and dinner with Pam at Los Barrios were essentials before the drive; I'd get up at the crack of dawn and start driving.
But decided--having stayed up later than planned--to go back to sleep. So now fully refreshed, I'm about to hit the road with Willie singing "On The Road Again!"
It's just six hours to my pink trailer in Louisiana, barring heavy Houston traffic, and there's not much to call me off the road between here and Houston, so should be there before dark no problem.
