At the pool today, there were flags outside,
and Nathan wanted his picture taken with one.
So here they are, Nathan and Elena,
holding flags and Nathan making up a song:
"Happy Birthday, America!"--Elena singing along.
"I'd do anything for my country," he told me on the way home.
"That means you are patriotic," I said.
"What does that mean?"
"It means you love your country."
"Is that good?" he asked.
