Luci and I are ready to rock and roll!
For practice for our two-hour flight, she sat in my lap for two hours today while I got a manicure and pedicure. That's the kind of girl she is, just-wanna-be-with-you-whatever-you're-doing kind of girl. She looks bored as hell, but she says it's preferable to being left alone to howl at the window like a poor little abandoned doggie.
Jan and I went to Stonewerks on my birthday night and I got a Pina Colada.
Flatbread and a fake picture of me passed out after one drink and lots of laughs--it was my kind of party!
Turning 78 was painless.
The next night Pam and I went to a Vietnamese restaurant and I said, "I'll have what she's having"--and it was delicious.
Thanks to all of you who sent me texts and cards and phone calls and made it a pleasure to walk through the door to 79.
Thanks to Freda and Bonnie for walking Luci (Freda) and driving me to Delta (Bonnie) for the beginning of our three week vacation in Athens!
Off we go!
