Yesterday had a lovely dinner at Cappy's with Bonnie and Freda (already in the 'you know what" decade) and Joy and me 77 and as of today, 78
I love my beautiful old friends--chronically old and decades of friendship old.
I tell my younger friends: be sure and keep your friendships alive for the decades ahead. When you reach you-know-what and beyond, you will cherish them even more. They hold all the trust, history, secrets and love that are the foundations of full life at any age.
