Pomegranates from my front yard


What a thrill to actually pick actually fruits right in my own front yard!  

I'm going to cut them in half and tap them with a wooden spoon, just like Jan told me to do.  But I can't use 40 pomegranates all by myself--so I'll be sharing. 

This is my first crop ever on that little tree than Jan and Gene planted for me three years ago. Now that Gene is no longer with us, I always think of him when I look at this loaded tree.  The only fruit left on it are too high to reach.
