Call for Poems About Ordinary Things

The Express-News poetry editor is asking for poems about things in our daily lives. In the spirit of Pablo Neruda and William Carlos Williams, celebrate the real things we live with: bread, socks, paper clips, red wheelbarrows, plums, rocks, paper, scissors, roses, avocados, soup, telephones, rocking chairs, etc.  Under 35 lines.  Deadline: March 18

Send poems to Poetry, Express-News Book Editor, P.O. Box 2171, San Antonio, 78297
