I'd forgotten this week is Spring Break when I scheduled writing group for last night. We had a small gathering, half absent, but we stretched ourselves into the time frame and had some fun discussions about life and books and writing.
My Spring Break begins today--with a dinner visit with Will and family in Helotes, after packing for my road trip. Renee, a member of the Monday group who hails from New Orleans, has provided me with a list of music venues and good food and things to do in NOLA--where Betty and I will meet on Saturday. Before that I will be staying in a pink vintage trailer for two nights, exploring Lafayette.
I'm ready to roll!
